Program Description:

The course provides an opportunity for students either to upgrade their skills in pharmaceutical sciences or to develop their interest in the discipline. The course caters for applicants from a range of physical/biological backgrounds. Units relating to molecular modelling, drug delivery, development, design and synthesis, advances in pharmacology and toxicology, and research methodology are offered. A research project is supported by staff expertise within the department and from industry. Students have ?hands-on? access to a wide range of analytical techniques that will assist them with their project activities.
