Program Description:
At Northwestern School of Law of Lewis and Clark College students find a blending of solid theoretical foundation in their classroom instruction and extensive practical experience through externships, clinical internships, simulation exercises, and the wide availability of clerking opportunities in Portland. Students can construct a personal framework for their education that helps implement their career goals. Graduates are trained to analyze possibilities for improving the law and to apply the experience they gain in the practical application of current law.

The Day Division offers a three-year program of study. The Evening Division allow students to spread their course load and expenses over four years. Admission criteria, full-time faculty, and academic opportunities are identical in the two programs.
