Program Description:

The Master of Arts in Writing (MAW) is designed to prepare students for careers in creative writing, professional and technical writing, and the teaching of writing. At the heart of the program is a series of highly individualized writing workshops. In addition, MAW students participate in a journey of discovery, exploring the evolution of literary genres and engaging in coursework in rhetorical theory, editing, and publishing.
