The Department of Mathematics offers graduate courses leading to M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Mathematics. The program aims to provide a sound foundation for the students who wish to pursue a research career in mathematics as well as other related areas. The department emphasizes both pure and applied mathematics.
