Program Description:
Using educational technology as a tool to improve student learning and anticipating the impact that advancements in technology may have on tomorrow’s classroom is not just instrumental to future curriculum, it’s mandatory for a school’s success. Instructional coordinators and teachers who hold a master’s of science in educational technology play a large role in improving the quality of education in the classroom. These educational technology experts, for whom careers are expected to grow faster that the average for all occupations through the year 2012, develop instructional materials, train teachers, supervise the implementation of educational technologies within the school or district, and assess educational programs in terms of quality and adherence to regulations and standards.
