Program Description:

The MSc in Project Management Course brings together components from both the School of Computing & Mathematics and Keele Management School. The modern business operates in a fast changing environment and requires a focus on priorities and the ability to apply effective communications and management techniques to achieve business goals. The process and methods of project management provide the ability for teams to deliver outstanding results on time and to budget. A successful project manager balances the conflicting goals of resource usage, quality of product, time to market and customer satisfaction. The aim of the course is to provide students with both the technical and process skills to undertake the role of a project manager in the modern business environment. The course will cover all the basic project management areas as defined in the Project Management Book of Knowledge and in addition will provide the additional soft skills required in team-building and people management.
