Requirements:
•Official transcripts from all colleges and universities. •Current Florida registered nurse license. Out of state applicants must be eligible for endorsement in Florida. International students must hold a current license from a U.S. state and be eligible for endorsement in Florida. •Three recommendations; two of which should be professional references. References should be from a supervisor familiar with the student’s clinical abilities and if possible an educator who taught the student. •Essay: The Essay will discuss a personal statement describing reasons for pursuing an advanced degree. •Evidence of completion of an undergraduate course in statistics and physical assessment. •Background check •Interview •A $30.00 nonrefundable application fee •Professional Resume-One year of clinical experience in a critical care or emergency setting and Advanced Cardiac Life Support are required prior to beginning the first clinical Nurse Practitioner course.
