Program Description:
The Idaho State University Communication and Rhetorical Studies Department offers two Master of Arts degree options. Teaching assistantships are available and include a full waiver of fees (in-state and out-of-state). Students may pursue a thesis or non-thesis option. You can earn an MA in Rhetorical Studies or an MA in Organizational Communication.

International Requirements:
International students (whose native language is not English) must achieve satisfactory scores on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or on the International English Language Testing System (IELTS). (1) TOEFL Exam: Total score of 80 with a score of at least 20 on each section (2) IELTS Exam: 6.5 or higher on the overall band (3) Level 112 from ELS Language Centers also meets the English language proficiency requirements. Students must contact the Graduate School at graddean@isu.edu before applying for ELS conditional admission in order to verify that the program of interest offers conditional admission.
