The sky is the limit. As a result of globalisation and modern technology, the limits of our capabilities have become increasingly smaller. Boundaries between products, services and consumer experience are also becoming increasingly blurred. This requires a new type of designer with a broad view: the ‘open innovator’. Our English-language Industrial Design Engineering study programme teaches you to design solutions for today’s complex challenges and to combine creativity with entrepreneurial skills, so that the products and services you have designed will be physically realised as well. This new study programme is already backed by a solid network in the business community. Businesses are eagerly looking out for these designers of the future.
The English language Industrial Design Engineering Bachelor’s is unique to the Netherlands. Design thinking is what drives us to design products and services. We believe a practice-oriented environment is crucial to your future. This is why we make sure to involve the business community in our study programmes. All projects and courses are based around a direct link between theory and practice. We offer broadly oriented education: research, design and entrepreneurship. After all, you need the ability to carefully assess your innovative idea in advance and create and market innovation. Our team of lecturers will provide effective, personal support throughout all creative processes. We will expect you to display the same level of enthusiasm.
