Program Description:
This entirely online program is designed to be completed in four semesters. The M.Ed. in Mathematics Education seeks to advance the ability of early and mid-career mathematics teachers to effectively implement standards-based instructional practices. The program's chief goal - to strengthen secondary students' mathematical comprehension - is achieved, in part, by providing mathematics teachers with opportunities to better understand learners from diverse backgrounds and to explore issues of equity in mathematics classroom.
