Program Description:

Northwestern University, in cooperation with Garrett-Evangelical, offers a graduate program in religious and theological studies leading to the Ph.D. degree. The major objective of the program is to prepare students for academic and other professional careers which involve scholarly study of the literature, socio-cultural dimensions, and thought of Western religious traditions in their historical and contemporary forms.
