The Franklin Pierce University MSN program is designed for nurses who have earned a baccalaureate degree in Nursing, or an associate’s degree in Nursing and a baccalaureate degree in another discipline from a recognized program, and wish to pursue graduate studies through a combination of in-class and online learning. Courses are offered at the University’s Concord, Portsmouth and Lebanon, NH centers and the program is designed to be completed in just 18-24 months. THE PROGRAM • Courses are offered in four 12-week terms per academic year. • The program is designed to be completed in 18-24 months of full-time study. Full-time study is defined as two or more courses per term. • Classes are offered in a hybrid format which is a combination of in-class and online learning. Hybrid courses will be scheduled in block time at a central location and are likely to meet for six evening sessions in a 12-week term. • No entrance exams are required for admission into the program. • Candidates who have an associate’s degree or a diploma in nursing and a baccalaureate degree in a discipline other than nursing may be accepted into the program on a case-by-case basis provided they can provide evidence of foundational competencies in the following baccalaureate nursing areas: evidenced-based practice, health assessment and promotion, community health nursing, and leadership.
