Program Overview
- Program Description:
- Students gain a thorough grounding in methods, applications, and natural sciences, in addition to a core of courses common to the field. Students may choose an emphasis with fields including: human populations and their interactions with the environment, effectiveness of environmental analysis and protection institutions, and analysis and resolution of the pressing environment issues faced by modern society. Environmental Studies students choose to partake of the same science-based courses taught by our experts in ecology, marine science and environmental biology. Every student completes a thesis.

- Cover letter of introduction including statement of academic goals, career goals and research interests, a four year undergraduate degree, official copies of transcripts, GRE exam, minimum grade point average of 3.0 for the last 60 semester hours of upper division undergraduate coursework or graduate coursework up to a maximum of the last 60 hours of coursework, and at least three letters of recommendation.
