- Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), a college of the State University of New York, offers the only graduate curriculum in the United States based on the cosmetics and fragrance industries. The two-year program, leading to the Master of Professional Studies (M.P.S.), is offered two evenings per week during the semester and during special intensive sessions for three weeks each January. There is a summer course in Paris between the first and second year of the program. The program culminates in a capstone seminar at the end of the fourth semester.
