Program Description:

Australian Catholic University (ACU) provides a low faculty-to-student ration, unlike most large public Australian universities. You will be a part of a friendly, small campus where you'll have access to excellent student support services. The Brisbane campus, located in the suburb of Banyo, is 50 minutes from the city center and easily reached by public transportation. The campus has state-of-the-art omputer labs and teaching facilities.

Students will be awarded Fairfield credit and grades for work completed at ACU. You can take a full load of three courses plus an internship while at ACU, and will earn 16 Fairfield University credits. Or, if you wish, you may take a fourth course instead of the internship and still earn 16 Fairfield University credits. Fairfield University, a Jesuit institution, is fully accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges.

While in Brisbane you will have onsite student support with 24-hour emergency coverage, access to all student services and facilities, pick up at airport and living accommodations in shared apartments with cooking facilities.

Setting Description:

Brisbane is a lively city with lots to do. Since you'll be living in the downtown area, everything you need will be nearby and a commuter bus or train will bring you to your classes at ACU in 50 minutes. ACU offers a variety of clubs, sports and activities you can take part in. This is a great way to meet Australians and expand your circle of friends in Brisbane.
