Program Description:
This is a collaborative course between King Edward Memorial Hospital for Women and the School of Nursing, Curtin University of Technology. It aims to enhance the professional development of expert neonatal intensive care nurses in a highly specialised hospital setting, the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit operating at a level three. The course focuses on the development of clinical leadership, promotion, and integration of evidence-based nursing practice in the neonatal intensive care setting. Nursing theory and research, as well as professional role development , are an integral part of the course.
