The Cologne Business School‘s mission statement is to design the study organisation and contents of the degree courses in accordance with the students‘ employability. We particularly recommend reading Business Psychology to people who wish to work in an international company which also wishes to achieve its economic targets under psychological aspects. Business psychologists are used in a wide range of company divisions. The selection and development of personnel, marketing, coaching and communication belong to the classic areas where companies obtain psychological expertise nowadays. The CBS degree course joins the communication of business and economics with lectures from the field of psychology, placing emphasis on the company divisions where business psychologists work.

We wish to develop and extend your social competence. For this purpose, we orientate ourselves by the requirements profile for internationally operative managers. As well as communicating application-related knowledge, we therefore support your professional and social skills to the same extent as your societal and cultural sensitivity and your courage to provide fact-based, well substantiated opinions. Setting Description:

Students from a foreign university have the unique opportunity to complete their semester abroad or graduate an entire BA programme in the lively metropolis of Cologne. More than 2000 years' history and a population of more than one million, Cologne is the fourth largest city in Germany. Moreover, Cologne lies in the heart of Europe: The Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg are literally just around the corner. Amsterdam, Brussels and Paris can be reached quickly by train at the weekend.
