Program Overview

Program Description:

Is Accounting Expertise Important to Your Future?

How do you know what makes a business successful? You start by understanding accounting. Whether you want to work as an auditor, consultant, tax advisor, CFO, or to strike out on your own as an entrepreneur, our innovative and experiential curriculum in the Master of Accounting (MAcc) Program at the historic College of William & Mary will prepare you to excel.

How Can You Start Your Career a Step Above the Rest?

Our MAcc Program will take you far beyond your previous coursework. For example, you will analyze the complex financial instruments used by so many businesses today. You will also leave the MAcc Program prepared for the new international financial reporting standards-one of the hottest accounting topics of the day.

Just ask any of the dozens of recruiters who come to our campus to interview our students. They will tell you that a MAcc from W&M means you understand complexities as well as basics. That you have benefited from daily interactions with outstanding faculty in small class settings. And that, thanks to our one-of-a-kind trip—the Veris CPAtrek—you have already had personal contact with key players in today's financial reporting world.
