Program Description:

The Department of Geography offers a master of arts in geography with emphasis on analytical geography. Theprogram focuses on geographic skills such as computer cartography, geographic information systems, spatialanalysis, remote sensing, and quantitative modeling as they are applied to economic, physical, and regionalgeography and to environmental policy issues. It is designed for students and professionals with backgrounds inengineering, computer science, social science, as well as traditional geography.
