Program Description:

Study in tropical Honolulu at Hawaii Pacific University and immerse yourself in the cultural epicenter that is the island of Oahu. HPU is one of the most diverse universities in the world, and we don’t mean species of flora and fauna! So, plan to meet people from all over the world, feast at a luau, catch a wave, and soak up this majestic island in the Pacific Ocean.

Setting Description:

Even though it’s technically still a part of the United States, Hawaii feels like a whole new world! This jewel in the Pacific has been the setting of countless movies and television shows, and its world-renowned beaches and landscapes have made it one of the top tourists locations in the world. When you arrive at the airport, you’ll be greeted by one of our representatives with a flower lei to get your semester started off right! The warm, tropical climate lets you enjoy the outdoors at any time of the year. You can snorkel through vivid blue water, hike through a beautiful rainforest, check out active volcanoes, and try surfing Hawaii’s legendary waves. To get around the island, there are plenty of buses, taxis, mopeds, motorcycles, bikes, car rentals, and the Hawaii Pacific Shuttle to help you out.
