Program Overview

Program Description:
The aim of the course is to prepare the student for managerial and specialised roles in training and developmentwithin the public and private sectors. On completion of the course, it is anticipated that students will be able to: identify the environmental factors that affect the role and practice of training and development; describe the theoretical bases of training and development activities; recognise training and development's relationship with other human resource functions, as well as its strategic contributions; and undertake core and expanded training and development activities utilising relevant resources effectively.
