Program Description:

This course has been developed in close liaison with the NSW Police Service, with the assistance of theDepartment of Community Services (DOCS), and will be delivered on an interdepartmental basis. It will draw onlecturers in Law, Welfare, Psychology and Policing.
The course is designed for experienced practitioners working in the area of child protection. It is anticipated thatmost students will currently be in specialist posts within the police service and the DOCS. Positions will also beavailable to applicants who want to return to this field of work following a break. The course will promoteinterdisciplinary approaches, along with reflective practice, producing professionals with a commitment tolifelong learning.
