The school counselor program prepares students to perform a variety of tasks including college and career guidance, mental health counseling, student social and emotional support, and consultation with teachers and parents. The main counseling builds on the mission of the College of Educational Studies by seeking to prepare knowledgeable, skilled, and reflective school counselors who are effective change agents for individuals, families, communities, andinstitutions.
