- Program Description:
- The Master of Arts in Special Education focuses on the tools necessary to build inclusive communities of families and colleagues. Effective communication, informed decision making, and advocacy for students are all stressed. The MA in Special Education is generally completed in four to five semesters. Note that the MA in Special Education can be completed in conjunction with the Education Specialist Credential Programs. Those credentials include the choice of: mild/moderate, moderate/severe, Level II mild/moderate and moderate/severe.
