In addition to meeting the General CEU Admissions Requirements (see: www.ceu.hu/admissions/apply), applicants must submit a 500-word typewritten essay introducing their research interest and explaining their academic/professional
background. Applicants should indicate how studies at CEU would help them achieve their future career goals. Admission is open to students holding BA degrees in economics and related fields. The department also welcomes applicants who hold BA or MA degrees in other areas of study and demonstrate an interest in economic policy studies.
