Program Description:

Students receive training in language teaching methods, in the development of English language communication and academic skills, in the nature of language and language acquisition, and in the social role of language. Courses are provided in analytical skills, linguistics and the English language, TESOL materials and methodology, English syntax, sociolinguistics, and other areas. Students who complete any of the TESOL programs are prepared for active careers in the discipline.
