Program Description:

The College of Business at California State University, Chico offers graduate level business courses to aspiring and working business professionals. We offer a General MBA, an MBA with an option in Project Management, and an MBA with an option in Enterprise Information Systems (EIS).  Our EIS MBA is a STEM designated degree.

The CSU, Chico MBA program welcomes applications from both domestic and International students who are motivated to learn the skills and knowledge they need to become successful managers. Although some business experience is suggested, it is not required and students do not need an undergraduate business degree. Students that do not have an undergraduate business degree will need to take a series of online modules to prepare for their graduate business program.

The MBA program admits students on a competitive basis and typically admits about 50-60% of the applicants. Students will largely be considered based on a combination of their gpa, GMAT/GRE scores, and the quality of their statement of purpose and letters of recommendation. Significant work experience, while not a requirement, will be considered as one component of the review process.
