V.I.S.I.T. CAL POLY, SUMMER 2012 Cal Poly is offering a unique and affordable summer program for international students to experience the best of California college life. Classes will begin on June 18th and end on August 15th. Students will be able to participate in Cal Poly’s wide range of academic offerings during the eight week summer session with classes from every department on campus, along with a highly recommended three week intensive English co-curricular experience starting May 28th.

Cal Poly offers a unique “Learn by Doing” education. For more than a century, it has combined a theoretical approach to its curriculum with practical, experimental learning. Program participates can choose classes from any of our six colleges: College of Agriculture, Food, and Environmental Sciences, College of Liberal Arts, College of Architecture & Environmental Design, College of Science and Mathematics, College of Engineering, Orfalea College of Business. The V.I.S.I.T. Cal Poly Summer 2012 program will be offering hundreds of classes for academic credit. Check with your university about transferring these units to apply to your degree. In addition, students will be able to explore local destinations such as wineries, farmers market, surfing spots, and great hiking all in the safety of a friendly small town community. With so much to do both on and off campus, the V.I.S.I.T. Cal Poly Summer 2012 package is the best way to experience college life on California’s Central Coast.

Setting Description:

Summer is a beautiful time of year on and around California’s central coast. Come enjoy the small town surroundings, pristine beaches, old time farmer’s markets, and the best of wine country, all while taking classes in your major! Cost:

V.I.S.I.T. Cal Poly is a very affordable way to obtain 12 academic units during 8 weeks of instruction.
