Program Description:

The Master of Science in Management (MSM) programme offers students with four-year undergraduate commerce or business degrees, as well as graduates of other disciplines, from business and non-business backgrounds, an opportunity to develop management and leadership skills appropriate for all kinds of organizations. The MSM programme is a 36 credit graduate programme designed to teach the behavioural and organizational aspects of management decisions and strategies. Moreover, the MSM programme is designed to deliver quality education to adults who wish to acquire knowledge and skills that will help them: work more effectively with people at all levels in an organization function more effectively in contributing toward the achievement of organizational goals. The programme focuses on people skills, and is ideal for managers and other professionals whose jobs require frequent interaction with other people or require leading and supervising others in an organizational setting.

The MSM programme is a 36 credit graduate programme. The MSM curriculum is organized in 10 modules of 45 hours, each module being taught in 4 consecutive weeks, totaling 30 credits. Students can join at the start of each module. An Applied Management Project with 6 credits completes the curriculum. The defence of the Applied Management Project must take place before the end of fourteen months starting from the first module of the course.

Although large in campus size, Asian University is small in student numbers. In classes of less than 20 students, interaction is intense and studying is based on projects and cases. No chance to get a good grade for memorizing the textbook - our lecturers aim to make you understand as they do.

The university is located in Chon Buri province approximately 150 km from Bangkok, and a short 25 minutes drive from the beach resorts of Jomtien and Pattaya. In small classes with intense teacher-student interaction, innovative educational approaches like active learning, peer-to-peer instruction, and minimally invasive education are the rule, rather than the exception. The courses are taught in English. All lecturers were educated at western universities; about 80 percent are native speakers of English. Beyond their academic qualification, all lecturers draw from extensive practical experience. The university has all the facilities of a modern university, including dormitorie
