Program Description:

Hollins Abroad-London is a distinctive program combining outstanding field-trip- based classes with optional British university classes and internships to provide a comprehensive British cultural experience.

Hollins Abroad-London courses are designed to take advantage of the rich cultural resources of one of the world's greatest cities. They focus on British and European art and architecture, literature, theatre, history, politics, and media with field trips that make the city your classroom.

The program fee includes: -Tuition -Accommodations -Meals; level depending on housing choice -Pick up from airport upon arrival -Orientation program on the Hollins campus and in London -Comprehensive health insurance while abroad -All course related field trips except theatre performances and Shakespeare overnight field trip to Stratford -London Transport Travelcard providing free bus and tube transportation in the zones between accommodations and classes (students in homestays only) -Weekend excursion within Britain (transportation, accommodations, some meals, guided tours) -Internet access in the program's Reading Room at Connaught Hall -Membership in International Students House and University of London Student Union -Program handbook and other materials -International Student ID Card -Comprehensive visa advice/assistance

Setting Description:

Our offices and classrooms are located in Connaught Hall on Tavistock Square in the heart of the University of London district and are within easy walking distance of the British Museum, the West End, and the U.L. library and student union.

Semester: $21,930.00 / Summer: $11,475 housed in flat, $7,475 housed with host family
