- Galway, the third largest city in the Republic of Ireland, is located on Ireland's west coast and is one of Europe's fastest growing cities. Galway is known as the cultural capital of Ireland because of its pioneering role in theater, arts, and culture. While Galway's economy and population continue to grow, it remains a small city that is easily navigated on foot.
At the National University of Ireland at Galway, there are a wide variety of courses from which to choose. You'll receive Fairfield University credit and grades for all coursework.
Students will earn 15 Fairfield University undergraduate credits and grades. They will enjoy cultural activities and an orientation in Galway. Onsite student support with 24-hour emergency coverage is included as well as insurance, including full medical coverage and medical evacuation insurance.

The National University of Ireland is a short walk from Eyre Square. It's original quadrangle dates from the 1840s, but modern buildings and state-of-the-art facilities reflect its growth.
