OFF AND AWAY!!!

Watching the SuperBowl (the Ravens vs. the 49ers) in the international terminal at O'Hare was the most fun I've had in an airport.  I sat in between a mechanic flying out to Afganistan, and a Brit returning home.  We cheered the good plays, sneered at the bad, and praised or ridiculed the commercials as appropriate.  In terms of the game, I've never really bonded over sports before (I don't really get them), but it didn't matter.

Packing

I hate packing.  I know the things I own are just things, but I have so much trouble leaving things behind, no matter how much I won't need them.  I went to a "Ready To Go, What To Pack" advice page, and their number one piece of advice was not to take too much.  I suppose I'm trying to take as much of who I am to Scotland with me, but that's when I realized, these things do not define me.  They definitely don't define who I hope to be in Scotland.
