Back to School and Study Abroad Fairs

September 3rd, 2008 · 1 Comment

With most college students back on campus it is time to start planning study abroad into your academic life and one of the best events to kick you into planning mode is the study abroad fair.  Most campuses will have their study abroad fair in September or October.  Some campuses will take over the student center while others will have a guntlet of tables lined up in the middle of the busiest walkway across campus.

In either case this is a great opportunity to see what is out there.  Faculty program leaders, study abroad vendors, returning study abroad students, student photos, and other related services will be on parade.

Here are a few examples of what to expect;

    Remember study abroad is for all students including those living with disabilities. The National Clearinghouse on Disability and Exchange provides free information to students with disabilities interested in studying abroad and the study abroad professionals working with these students.
